Senior Trading & Product Manager for Betfair

We are the Flutter UK & Ireland Trading Team – we power performance, we think different, and we drive great customer experiences to keep our Paddy Power, Betfair and SkyBet brands at number one.

We are looking for a Senior Trading & Product Manager to be the voice of Trading in Betfair. Working with colleagues across Trading, Product and the Betfair brand, this role will help to deliver a unique, best-in-class experience for Betfair Sportsbook and Exchange customers.

The role is a hybrid role, consisting of office working and remote working. The office location for this role is Dublin.

What you’ll do:

• You will be the voice of Trading in Betfair. With a passion for the brand, and a deep understanding of Betfair’s mission, you will play a key role in Betfair achieving its objectives, by leveraging Trading as a key business lever. While reporting directly into Trading, you will also be part of the Betfair extended leadership team, providing cross functional leadership and decision making.
• You will work collaboratively across Betfair. You will work on Betfair and the Trading teams objectives where they overlap with the Exchange, Betfair International or Product.
• You will own Betfair’s value proposition in Trading. You will work with colleagues across Trading, Product and Commercial to optimise our 90-minute payout and #OddsOnThat propositions, as well as to deliver new and innovative generosity mechanics that Betfair customers will love.
• You will drive innovation in Trading for Betfair. Striving to identify unique ways to delight our customers – new markets, better customer experiences or creating more ways to win – you will be a source of innovation for the Betfair brand.
• You will oversee Betfair’s ‘Go To Market’ planning in Trading for major events. Whether it’s Cheltenham, the World Cup, or the start of the new football season, you will work with colleagues across the business to ensure Betfair stands out and delivers on the events that matter most.
• You will propel Betfair performance. By being curious about ‘the numbers’ and working collaboratively with colleagues in Trading, Finance and Commercial, you will identify opportunities for Trading to improve performance on the Betfair brand.

While knowledge of Risk and Trading is necessary in the role, inexperience in this domain should not preclude a candidate from applying, providing they are curious and willing to invest in upskilling quickly.
