About The Role

As a Team Lead in the Football Trading Team, you’ll oversee a dynamic team that supports the biggest product in Flutter’s global portfolio. You ‘ll ensure the smooth delivery of our sportsbook football product for Paddy Power, Betfair, and Sky Betting & Gaming, overseeing everything from pricing, proposition, and market creation right through to issue resolution.

Your leadership will play a key role in driving trading, proposition and operational excellence while fostering a customer-obsessed culture. You’ll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and third-party providers to ensure optimal service delivery.
 

In this role you will…

• Create operational excellence across your team.
• Manage outages, collaborating with technical and commercial teams to generate resolutions.
• Optimise our football model, documenting any issues and finding opportunities for improvement.
• Lead and develop your team.
• Drive a culture of automation.
• Coordinate the build and release of new markets.
• Recruit and resource plan to ensure we have the correct skills in the team.

What we’re looking for:

Ideally, you’ll have experience in Trading and running an operational team, but this isn’t essential.

• You’ll have a deep understanding of operational processes and optimisation methods.
• Management experience, ideally of junior team members.
• You’ll be able to manage multiple tasks and operate under pressure.
• Alongside the technical skills, this role is ideal for someone who is naturally collaborative and can operate as part of a team.
• You’ll be curious and motivated by continuous improvement.
